The IP rating is one of the most important features of a towel warmer. The IP rating of a towel warmer determines how close it can be located to the nearest water source (Tap, Shower, Bath etc). The highest rating specified by the Australia and NZ joint standard for towel warmers is IP45. All Heirloom towel warmers have an IP45 rating giving you the assurance of the greatest flexibility in determining where the towel warmer can be mounted. IP45 warmers can be installed in Zone 1. For confidence and safety, always ensure the towel warmer you purchase has an IP45 rating and has been tested in a New Zealand laboratory.
Heirloom ESP (Registered Trademark) is the Energy Saver Pulse controller available on selected towel warmers. The controller is built into the towel warmer and is operated by a touch sensitive pad. The controller pulses the power off and on to halve power usage but with the option to have a full power boost after which the towel warmer will automatically return to economy mode. The benefit of ESP over other timers is that your towel warmer is always warm and you can instigate a full power boost whenever you need it by a simple press of a button. ESP units cannot be retrospectively installed.
Heirloom's unique design which increases the flexibility of our stainless steel towel warmers by allowing them to be installed with the wiring entering the towel warmer on either the left or right hand side. Heirloom's Dual wired system has been tested to comply with the joint Australia and NZ standard and embodies many special technical design features to make it safe and easy for adapt to your installation. Heirloom stainless steel towel warmers can be installed with either left or right hand electric cable entry AND with the option of a concealed or exposed electrical flex. (Remember that the concealed wiring option can only be utilised when there is access to the wall cavity before the wall cladding is applied.)
Swivel towel warmers are the perfect towel warmer for ease of use and installation. Easy to install because they only require one stud behind the wall for the two fixing points. The warmer can also be postioned at right angles to the wall to fit in a confined space such as the space between a vanity and bath/shower. The swivel warmer is easy to use because it can be moved into a convenient position from which to access and place your towel and additionally you simply drape your towel over the warmer without having to thread it into place.
The Heirloom Timekeeper allows you to reduce your power consumption and your power bill. The timekeeper turns your towel warmer on and off twice per day with a continuous repeating cycle where the towel warmer is on 4 hours and then off 8 hours. The Timekeeper can be retrospectively fitted on exisitng towel warmers as it fits behind the face plate of its power switch. To change the cycle you turn the towel warmer off and then turn it on again when you wish the new "on" cycle to commence. Do not install with and ESP towel warmer
